DAILY PROMISE
DAILY DEVOTION
I am a christian
When I say ...'' I am a christian
I am not shouting '' I AM CLEAN LIVING''
I'M whispering '' i was lost''
Now I'M found and forgiven.
When I say ...'' I'M Christian''
I don't speak of this with pride
I 'M CONFESSING THAT I STUMBLE
and need christ to be my guide.
When I say ...'' I'M a christian"
I'M not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'M WEAK
AND NEED HIS STRENGTH TO CARRY ON
When I say...'' I'M a christian"
I'M not bragging of success
I'M admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess
When I say...'' I'M a christian ''
I'm not claming to be perfect
My flows are too visible far
But,God believess I am worth it
When I say ...'' I'M a christian''
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
so I call upon His name
When I say...'' I'M a christian''
I 'M not holier than thou
I'M just a simple sinner
Who recieved God's good grace, SOMEHOW..
WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is basically talking with God. It is simply expressing your heart and spending time with Him. It is not a one way activity, God speaks, we listen, we speak and God listens to our hearts. Prayer can be exciting, powerful and fulfilling.
I am going to be focusing mostly on intercession, but I also wanted to provide an overview on other types of prayer that will hopefully inspire you to pursue your own personal study on this subject.
Types of Prayer
A. ThanksgivingB. Petition
C. Prevailing
D. Intercession
A. Thanksgiving - Giving thanks to God for all things in your life. We are commanded to give thanks in all circumstances. Being thankful is being grateful for his protection, provision, blessing, and most of all for his Son.
B. Petition - We ask God for the specific things we need in our life. Give us our daily bread. Give us the things we need to survive, a roof over our heads, employment etc. Petitions are usually self orientated, presenting our personal needs to our Heavenly Father, in trust that He will provide. Be specific in your petitions, pray in details and not in generalities.
C. Prevailing Prayer - fervent consistent insistent prayer until a breakthrough takes place, whether in your personal life, or for someone else (intercession). Example Believing for emotional or physical healing.
Biblical Example: Luke 18:1-8.(NIV) Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, `Grant me justice against my adversary.' "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, `Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'" And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
D Intercession - Love on its knees in prayer, for others. Pleading on behalf of the needs of someone else. Standing in the gap, that is, praying prayers of repentance, etc., identifying yourself with the sins of those for which you are in prayer.
Biblical Example: Nehemiah, a godly man, identified with the sins of his people, praying prayers of repentance, asking the Lord to forgive and to have mercy and to raise up once again the nation of Israel.
Confirmation of Conversion
Reading: John 3:1-16
"If any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Cor 5:17)
Can we identify a genuine experience of salvation? Surely yes!
First of all, there will be the true peace and joy through the Holy Spirit in the heart! When we make peace with God we have the peace of God. Jesus called it the peace the world cannot give (Jn 14:27). The burden of sin is rolled away! Guilt is gone! The converted man is overflowing with gratitude to God. He shouts with exuberance, "Thank you, Lord, thank You!" If over one sinner who repents there is great joy among the angels "in Heaven," will the angels "on earth" around him stay unmoved (Lk 15:10)?
Secondly, the converted man begins to hate sin and the evil ways of the world. The sinful acts he was indulging in during the past so willingly appear obnoxious to him now. The joy of the Lord has replaced the silly pleasures of sin. This does not mean he will never ever commit any sin. Before getting saved he was like a pig; he would be wallowing in the mire! Now he is a lamb. Even if someone pushes the lamb into the mire, it will atonce jump out and not stay there. Have you understood the difference? A child of God will not "live" in sin!
Thirdly, the saved man begins to love Bible meditation, prayer and fellowship of God's children. It is no more the routine of reading the Bible for a few minutes as a religious custom, but a delightful desire to spend hours in meditating it (Psa 1:2). Prayer becomes his very breath. Earlier he had not known God. But now he knows God as his Father. Hence this longing to speak to Him! He begins to feel and appreciate the love of God who has redeemed him (1 Jn 3:1). Fellowship with saints is necessary to comprehend the width, length, depth and height of that love (Eph 3:18).
Fourthly, those who are saved will walk in love with others (1 Jn 3:14). They will restitute matters with the wronged (Mt 5:23,24). Loving the enemies, the persecutors and the opposers is a proof of our being children to a God of love (Mt 5:43-48).
Fifthly, the saved man will just be anxious to share his new-found joy with others (Jn 4:28,29; Mk 5:19). "Let the world get the joy I got!"- This will be his motto.
More about Jesus would I know,More of His grace to others show;
More of His saving fullness see;
More of His love-who died for me!

Letter From Hell. - Scary but true
“The more I study science the more I believe in God.”
Nobel Prize: Albert Einstein (1879–1955) was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for
his contributions to Quantum Theory and for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric
effect. Einstein is one of the founders of modern physics; he is the author of the Theory of
Relativity. According to the world media (Reuters, December 2000) Einstein is “the personality
of the second millennium.”
Nationality: German; later Swiss and American citizen
Education: Ph.D. in physics, University of Zurich, Switzerland, 1905
Occupation: Patent Examiner in the Swiss Patent Office, Bern, 1902-1908; Professor of
Physics at the Universities of Zurich, Prague, Bern, and Princeton, NJ.

1. “I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon,
in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.”
(Einstein, as cited in Ronald Clark, Einstein: The Life and Times, London, Hodder and Stoughton
Ltd., 1973, 33).
2. “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many
different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not
know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly
suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books, but doesn’t know what it is.
That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.
We see a Universe marvellously arranged and obeying certain laws, but only dimly understand
these laws. Our limited minds cannot grasp the mysterious force that moves the
constellations.” (Einstein, as cited in Denis Brian, Einstein: A Life, New York, John Wiley and
Sons, 1996, 186).
3. “If one purges the Judaism of the Prophets and Christianity as Jesus Christ taught it of all
subsequent additions, especially those of the priests, one is left with a teaching which is
capable of curing all the social ills of humanity. It is the duty of every man of good will to
strive steadfastly in his own little world to make this teaching of pure humanity a living
force, so far as he can.” (Albert Einstein, Ideas and Opinions, New York, Bonanza Books,
1954, 184-185).
4. “After all, haven’t the differences between Jew and Christian been overexaggerated by
fanatics on both sides? We both are living under God’s approval, and nurture almost identical
spiritual capacities. Jew or Gentile, bond or free, all are God’s own.” (Einstein, as cited in
H.G. Garbedian, Albert Einstein: Maker of Universes, New York, Funk and Wagnalls Co.,
1939, 267).
5. “Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a
Spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe – a Spirit vastly superior to that of man, and
one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble. In this way the
pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort, which is indeed quite different
from the religiosity of someone more naive.” (Einstein 1936, as cited in Dukas and Hoffmann,
Albert Einstein: The Human Side, Princeton University Press, 1979, 33).
6. “The deeper one penetrates into nature’s secrets, the greater becomes one’s respect for
God.” (Einstein, as cited in Brian 1996, 119).
7. “The most beautiful and most profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the
mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can
no longer stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. That deeply emotional conviction of the
presence of a superior Reasoning Power, which is revealed in the incomprehensible Universe,
forms my idea of God.” (Einstein, as cited in Libby Anfinsen 1995).
8. “My religiosity consists in a humble admiration of the infinitely superior Spirit that reveals
itself in the little that we, with our weak and transitory understanding, can comprehend of
reality.” (Einstein 1936, as cited in Dukas and Hoffmann 1979, 66).

9. “The more I study science the more I believe in God.” (Einstein, as cited in Holt 1997).
10. Max Jammer (Professor Emeritus of Physics and author of the biographical book Einstein
and Religion, 2002) claims that Einstein’s well-known dictum,
“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”,
can serve as an epitome and quintessence of Einstein’s religious philosophy. (Jammer 2002;
Einstein 1967, 30).
11. “The highest principles for our aspirations and judgments are given to us in the Jewish-
Christian religious tradition. It is a very high goal which, with our weak powers, we can reach
only very inadequately, but which gives a sure foundation to our aspirations and valuations.”
(Albert Einstein, Out of My Later Years, New Jersey, Littlefield, Adams and Co., 1967, 27).
12. “In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able
to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry
is that they quote me for the support of such views.” (Einstein, as cited in Clark 1973, 400;
and Jammer 2002, 97).
13. Concerning the fanatical atheists Einstein pointed out:
“Then there are the fanatical atheists whose intolerance is of the same kind as the intolerance
of the religious fanatics and comes from the same source. They are like slaves who are still
feeling the weight of their chains which they have thrown off after hard struggle. They are
creatures who – in their grudge against the traditional ‘opium for the people’ – cannot bear
the music of the spheres. The Wonder of nature does not become smaller because one
cannot measure it by the standards of human moral and human aims.” (Einstein, as cited in
Max Jammer, Einstein and Religion: Physics and Theology, Princeton University Press, 2002,
97).
14. “True religion is real living – living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness and
righteousness” (Einstein, as cited in Garbedian 1939, 267).
15. “Certain it is that a conviction, akin to religious feeling, of the rationality or intelligibility
of the world lies behind all scientific work of a higher order.
… This firm belief, a belief bound up with deep feeling, in a superior Mind that reveals itself
in the world of experience, represents my conception of God.” (Einstein 1973, 255).
16. “Strenuous intellectual work and the study of God’s Nature are the angels that will lead
me through all the troubles of this life with consolation, strength, and uncompromising
rigor.” (Einstein, as cited in Calaprice 2000, ch. 1).
17. Einstein’s attitude towards Jesus Christ was expressed in an interview, which the great
scientist gave to the American magazine The Saturday Evening Post (26 October 1929):
“- To what extent are you influenced by Christianity?
- As a child I received instruction both in the Bible and in the Talmud. I am a Jew, but I am
enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene.

7 Wonders of about Bible
7 Wonders of about Bible
The Wonder of its Formation
Many authors have written their books in different languages and it is all included in one book, The Holy Bible. We now have all the books in any language that we want.
The Wonder of its Unification.
There are 66 books in the Bible. These books that had been written by different authors in different places at different periods of time were practically impossible to recover and unify.
The Wonder of its Age
The oldest book of the Bible is said to be the Book of Job. It was written approximately around 200 B.C. Now is the year 2004 A.D. A gap of about 4000 long years. Yet the book of Job is still available in our hands.
The Wonder of its Sale
The Bible is one of the largest selling book in the world. In China, a printing press called the Amity printing press sold 2.6 million copies of the Bible last year. It is stated that the sale of the Bible is now increasing by 10% every year.
The Wonder of its Interest
The Bible has aroused great deal of interest among people. Many famous scientists, scholars and even archaeologists refer the Bible. It reveals many important facts, which help them in their job.
The Wonder of its Language.
The Bible was written mostly by uneducated people like fishermen, shepherds etc. The Bible was written in languages such as Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Now we can read it in more than a 1000 languages and understand its content.
The Wonder of its Preservation
As I told before a book that was written about 4000 years ago is available even now. It was preserved for a long period of time. Not only the book of Job but also all the other books were preserved without damage as well. Are we able to preserve this book for the coming generations? May God help us for that.
What is the 10/40 Window? PRAY FOR IT
The 10/40 Window: What is it?
The 10/40 Window is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. The 10/40 Window is often called "The Resistant Belt" and includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. An estimated 4.03 billion individuals residing in approximately 7,082 distinct people groups are in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is home to some of the largest unreached people groups in the world such as the Shaikh, Yadava, Turks, Moroccan Arabs, Pushtun, Jat and Burmese.
The 10/40 Window has several important considerations: first, the historical and biblical significance; second, the least evangelized countries; third, the unreached people groups and cities; fourth, the dominance of three religious blocs; fifth, the preponderance of the poor; sixth, the strongholds of Satan within the 10/40 Window.
The 10/40 Window: Historical and Biblical Significance
The first and most fundamental reason why followers of Jesus Christ ought to focus on the 10/40 Window is because of the biblical and historical significance of this area. The Bible begins with the account of Adam and Eve placed by God in the heart of what is now the 10/40 Window. God's plan, expressed in Genesis 1:26, was that mankind should have dominion over the earth, subduing it fully. However, Adam and Eve sinned against God and forfeited their right to rule. Man's sinful behavior increased until God intervened and judged the earth with a cataclysmic flood. Then came man's futile attempt to establish new dominion in the building of the great Tower of Babel. That effort, which also occurred in the heart of the 10/40 Window, was an open defiance against God. Once again, God reached forth His hand in judgment. The result was the introduction of different languages, the scattering of earth's people, and the formation of nations.
The 10/40 Window: The Least Evangelized Countries
The 10/40 Window is home to the majority of the world's unevangelized countries. The "unevangelized" are people who have a minimal knowledge of the gospel, but have no valid opportunity to respond to it. While it constitutes only one-third of earth's total land area, nearly two-thirds of the world's people reside in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window includes the countries listed to the right, both sovereign states and non-sovereign dependencies. Countries comprising the 10/40 Window have at least 50% of their land mass within 10 and 40 degrees north latitude.
The 10/40 Window: The Unreached Peoples and Cities
An estimated 2.34 billion individuals live in approximately 5,316 unreached people groups are in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window also contains the largest unreached peoples over one million. The 10/40 Window also contains the overwhelming majority of the world's least evangelized megacities -- that is those with a population of more than one million. Of the top 50 cities on this list, all 50 are in the 10/40 Window! That fact alone underscores the need for prioritizing Great Commission efforts.
The 10/40 Window: The Dominance of Three Religious Blocs Top
The 10/40 Window contains four of the world's dominant religious blocs. The majority of the followers of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism as well as the Non-Religious block live within the 10/40 Window. On the left side or western part of the 10/40 Window, the Muslim world can be seen most prominently in a wide band across the north of Africa into the Middle East. South Asia, in the middle of the 10/40 Window, is the heart of Hinduism with its 330 million gods. Buddhism influences the right side or eastern part of the 10/40 Window. Buddhism is the primary religion in Southeast Asia and although officially an atheistic country since the Marxist revolution of the late 1940s, China is nevertheless deeply influenced by its Buddhist roots.
The 10/40 Window: The Preponderance of the Poor Top
The 10/40 Window is home to the majority of the world's poor. Of the poorest of the poor, more than eight out of ten live in the 10/40 Window. On average, they exist on less than a few hundred dollars per person per year. Brent L. Myers, in his article entitled, "Where Are The Poor And Lost?", states that "the poor are the lost, and the lost are the poor." He arrived at this conclusion after illustrating that the majority of the unreached live in the poorest countries of the world. There is a remarkable overlap between the poorest countries of the world and those that are least evangelized.
The 10/40 Window: Spiritual Stronghold
The 10/40 Window includes numerous spiritual strongholds. The billions of people who live in the 10/40 Window have suffered not only the ravages of poverty and disease, they have also been kept from the transforming power of the Gospel. They are poignant examples of the truth expressed in 2 Corinthians 4:4, which states that "the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
The 10/40 Window: A Renewed Focus Top
The focus of the Christian missions community 200 years ago was for the coastlands of the world. A century later, the success of the coastlands effort motivated a new generation to reach the interior regions of the continents. Within the past several decades, the success of the inland thrust has led to a major focus on people groups. Today, followers of Christ are concentrating their efforts on the unreached peoples of the world, most of which are in the 10/40 Window.RISING CHRISTIANITY IN SRILANKA - DO PRAY FOR IT
Sri Lanka Christians Face Attacks
Christianity is growing and gaining influence in the island nation that sits off the coast of India. The number of evangelicals has increased by more than 200,000 since 1980. They are dedicated to evangelism, church planting, and even missions work. But Buddhism is the official religion of Sri Lanka. The growth of Christianity has angered Buddhist priests who see it as a threat. Some of those priests are encouraging normally peaceful Buddhists to go on the attack. They're pushing for laws to forbid religious conversions.
"In the last 1 year, possibly 1 ½ years, there have been 74 incidents of attacks on churches. Churches burned down, pastors beaten, some girls were almost raped, but thank God they were not.
| |||
The commitment of many missionaries over the years has seen the churches in Sri Lanka multiply. In the 1970s only 26 new churches were planted, but by the ‘90s this number had grown to over 330.
Despite the continual warfare and military opposition to Christianity, the number of bible-believing Christians in Sri Lanka has grown from 50,000 to 240,000 over twenty years. |
| |||
The drawn out and bloody war between the Sinhala and Tamil has deeply wounded the country, killing many and forcing many to leave their homes and sometimes their country. Many young children have been brainwashed and used as child-soldiers – trained to kill ruthlessly. Pray for all the children and adults coping with the trauma of the experience of war.
Most of the Christians live in the urban areas of the island, yet there are 35,000 villages that have no contact with any Christians. Pray that Sri Lankan Christians would develop a vision to see the gospel spread all over their nation, especially into the poorer rural areas and urban slums.
Buddhism is religion based on non-violence and tolerance, so the violence of Buddhist extremists against Tamil Hindus and Christians has shattered the illusion. Pray that in this uncertainty people would begin to look for Jesus. |

Regardless of which demographic group they belong to – male-female, Republican-Democrat or old-young – Americans named the Bible as their favorite book of all time, according to a recent nationwide poll.
In addition to being the number one book overall, the Holy Book also came in first across the board when comparing different demographic groups – gender, race/ethnicity, generation, political party, region, education – according to the Harris Poll released on Monday.
The results may come as no surprise considering statistics that reflect how plentiful Bibles are in the nation. An estimated 92 percent of Americans own a Bible and the average household owns three, a 1993 Barna Research study found.
More recent research puts Bible ownership at an average of four per household, which suggest that Bible publishers sell twenty-five million copies a year, according to The New Yorker.
But the revered book, a testament to God's enduring love toward mankind, is read by just 45 percent of Americans in a typical week, the Barna Research Group reported two years ago.
In the Harris Poll, Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind was the nation's second favorite read while J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings fantasy series nabbed third.
Americans also enjoyed reading J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books, which came in fourth.
Dan Brown's controversial book, The Da Vinci Code, placed sixth, while Angels and Demons, another book by the same author, came in eighth.
According to the poll, there was a large difference in the number two favorite book although Gone With the Wind came in second for most groups.
Men favored Lord of the Rings while women couldn't get enough of the Civil War and romance in Gone with the Wind as their second favorite.
Age among Americans also mattered in determining which book placed second best. For those belonging to the Echo Boomers group (ages 18-31), their second favorite is the Harry Potter series. Generation X (ages 32-43) is evenly divided between The Stand and Angels and Demons.
There was also varying preferences among Americans' second favorite book, depending on where they lived. Residents in the South and Midwest chose Gone With the Wind. Easterners agreed on Tolkien and Westerners sided with King.
Both Whites and Hispanics picked Gone with the Wind as their second favorite while African Americans embraced Angels and Demons.
Republicans, Democrats and Independents cited the same books as the their top two – The Bible followed by Gone with the Wind.
The online poll by Harris Interactive surveyed 2,513 U.S. adults between March 11 and 18, 2008.

When Jesus Looks
Does He see His likeness,The product of His hand.Or just another Christian,Who never took a stand?
Does He see a child of God,A child that He set free?Living life to honor Him,Or does He just see me?
What about the other folks,I meet along the way.Do I show them Jesus,To brighten up their day?
When someone looks into my eyes,Can they truly see. That calm and gentle peace of God,That dwells inside of me
When I reach out and shake a hand,Is He right there in my grip? Can they feel that strength from God,That steadies when I slip?
When folks are in my presence,Do they know His Spirit's there? Can they see that He's the one,Who guides me everywhere
When other people think of me,What is on their mind?Do they think of Jesus Christ,So gentle and so kind?
I try to be like Jesus,Every single day.Spreading love and kindness,All along my way.
I'm afraid that I have failed,I could not pass the test.Deep inside my heart I know,I haven't done my best.
I have had to fight my flesh,Since the day that I was born. It's always causing trouble,And being such a thorn.
That's why His Spirit dwells in me,He's helping me to learn. In every situation,Where I need to turn.
He knew I'd never pass the test,That's why He took my place. He gave His life to save my soul,He suffered my disgrace.
Now I try to be like Him,I must present Him well.So other folks will want His gift,And turn their backs on hell.
Other folks should see the joy,That Christ has given me.They should want to have it too,Especially since it's free.

jesus told
Do all things without murmuring and disputing. Phil 2:14
Murmuring is the opposite of faith. Whenever you go down in faith, you will murmur. A sanctified man is a praising man. There are so many things to praise God for. Some of you have not worked hard for God. some of you have not made any sacrifices for God. So you do not have great joy in His service. These is so much to praise God for. But if you have sacrificed nothing, you will only be a murmurer. The Bible says, "Let there not be one murmurer among you. Do all things without murmuring."
A sanctified man has joy in submission. The Bible say, Submit yourselves one to another. An unsanctified person does not want anything like that. Let us go over our weak points, and failures, with sorrow and repentance before God. Those who been walking only one mile just doing their own duty, should learn to run the second mile

TRUTHS BEHIND OUR CHRISTIAN PRAYER
Christian Prayer: A Scriptural Model
A model for Christian prayer is found in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus Christ himself gave all of us a pattern for prayer:
"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13 KJV).
The model for Christian prayer in Matthew 6 is known as the Lord's Prayer. Many of us have recited this prayer for years, but have never truly meditated on its meaning. The following are spiritual snippets based on the Lord's Prayer that can help deepen your prayer life with God:
"Our Father" - God wants us to approach Him as "Daddy" (Aramaic: Abba). He wants to take care of us and protect us. God desires intimacy. Remember, He has infinite love and grace. God wants us to be secure in His family as adopted children and heirs.
"Which Art in Heaven" -- Look up to God. Fear Him and revere Him. He is all-powerful and can deal with all our problems, even the big ones. But He loves us so much that He doesn't stay up there.
"Hallowed be Thy Name" -- Holy, holy, holy. Approach God with awe and wonder. Save the word "awesome" for God. Live a life that honors Him.
"Thy Kingdom Come" - "Take this job and love it!" Working on behalf of God's kingdom is the ultimate joy. Bloom where you're planted. Do everything as unto the Lord. Find your gifts and use them. Be open to God's leading each day.
"Thy Will Be Done" - God is the potter; we are the clay. God keeps us spinning on His potter's wheel, shaping and reshaping us as He bathes our lives in tears to make us more Christ-like so He can use us for His will. Surrender daily. Keep your clay moist through daily prayer.
"On Earth as it is in Heaven" -- Thy will be done - not my will be done!
"Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" - Trust! God will provide for our needs. His eye is on the sparrow and I know He cares for me.
"Forgive Us Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors" -- Forgiveness = Surrender. Don't carry your own backpack - surrender it to Him. Revealing the feeling is the beginning of healing. Act as if you have forgiven and the feeling will follow. In our weakness, God sends His strength and peace.
"Lead Us Not Into Temptation" - Watch for unrecognized temptation. Pray, so you won't fall. We are tempted every day. It deepens our walk and strengthens our faith - but be careful of spiritual blindness. Open my eyes, Lord, to my blind spots - use honest friends and family.
"Deliver Us From Evil" -- The Evil One, Satan. We are saved from death to life. Jesus is more powerful than Satan - God is greater!
"For Thine Is the Kingdom (obedience), and the Power (confidence) and the Glory (joy), Forever" -- This is our Father's world. Everything we have is His. He is the ruler!

WHY DO WE GO TO CHURCH
A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."
This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor.
It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: "I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!" When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!
When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, "Jesus, could you get that for me?"
BEAUTIFUL PRAYER
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.
I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly caresand brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own!,but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.
I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me. God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.
DO YOU THINK GOD HAS ANY PROBLEM TAKING CARE OF U…. do the maths:_
Do you know that to bring that much food each day two freight trains each a mile long would be required! Besides you must remember, they were out in the desert, and they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take 4,000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long, just for one day. Just think, they were 40 years in transit! Oh, yes, they would have to have water. If they only had enough to drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 11 million gallons each day. That would require a freight train with tank cars 1,800 miles long, just to bring water!
Then consider another thing: they had to get across the Red sea in one night. If they went on a narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So, there had to be a space in the Red sea, 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5,000 abreast to get over in one night. Another problem also faced Moses. Each time they camped at the end of the day, it required a camp ground about two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island, or a total of 750 square miles long. Think of it! this space had to be provided each night for camping. Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt? I think not! You see, Moses believed in God ,God took care of these things for him.
NOW DO YOU THINK GOD HAS ANY PROBLEM TAKING CARE OF U….
Why God Allows Pain?
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God,
the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things." The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!" "No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." "Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me." "Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
Just seek the God. He will relieve all our pains and problems.
FAKE MESSIAH IN SIBERIA
46 year old , Sergi Torrop is an ex-policeman. He has more than 5000 disciples in Siberia alone. They are living in a self-built small village, some 2000 miles from Moscow. Well educated people, having resigned from their jobs, are living here. The name of this church in old Soviet Union, with false doctrines, is Church of the Last Testament.
Lakhs of people, who are unsatisfied with their existing traditional churches and worship, are throbbing to this new religion. Every week, such churches are growing with lightning speed world wide. Churches preaching wrong translations of the Bible, Hindus, Buddhists, all are a part of this group.
They believe that God will again come to this earth in flying chariots.
Believers bow and worship Torrop when he comes down from his habitation on mountain tops from time to time. He welcomes believers to his house on Sundays. His disciples claim that he alone is Christ and he only gave them a new birth. Most of them are less than 40 years of age. They worship by kneeling on the ground and singing songs. He is attracting disciples from many villages. Drinking, smoking and drugs are prohibited for these people who are vegetarians.
Preserving nature, mercy, peace, kindness and the like are their doctrines. He preaches and teaches that pure thoughts should be cultivated and nothing should be destroyed without reason. Believers who claim to have found peace and happiness through this new religion are building heaven on earth. 80 lakh Russians have joined these new religions.
Jesus said:
· John 8:32 says 'And you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free'
· John 14:6 says Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
· Math 24:24 says ' For there shall arise false Christs,and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect;
· I John 4:1 says 'Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Bible or Da Vinci Code
The Da Vinci Code is among many who have questioned the Sacred Scriptures over the centuries. Only God’s word can lead the way to heaven. Please publish this liberally to spread the good news about our living savior.
The movie of the Da Vinci Code is playing now. It questions the divinity of Jesus, claims he was married to Mary Magdalene and had a child. There is no evidence to support this. This article shows what the Bible says about Jesus. He arose from the dead, was seen by thousands of people, including the apostles who knew him well. They testify in Scripture that he is the Son of God.
The pages of the Old Testament are filled with prophecies of Jesus. Immediately after the first sin, a remedy for iniquity was announced. Jesus would crush the head of the serpent who was actually Satan in Genesis 3:15. He was often called the Messiah in Old Testament times. It was foretold that he would be the offspring of Abraham (GE 18:18), of Isaac (GE 17:19), and of Jacob, (NU 24:17). It was predicted that he would descend from the tribe of Judah (GE 49:10), The place of his birth was named in Micah 5:2, Daniel 9:25 speaks of the time of his birth. It was predicted that he would be betrayed by a friend in Psalm 41:9; he would be sold for 30 pieces of silver in Zechariah 11:12. The fact that Judases’ position would be taken by another foretold in Psalm 109:8, the money would be returned for a potter’s field, (ZEC 11:13). It was prophesied that his hands and feet would be pierced in Psalm 22:16; he would be given gall and vinegar in Psalm 69:21.
It was foretold that his side would be pierced in Zechariah 12:10 that soldiers would cast lots for his clothes in Psalm 22:18 that not a bone would be broken in Psalm 34:20 that he would be buried with the rich in Isaiah 53:9. The entire chapter of Isaiah 53 is devoted to describing how Jesus was despised and rejected by men, pierced for our transgression, crushed for our inequities, led as a sheep before his shears in silence, and cut off from the land of the living.
This speaks of his suffering in his crucifixion. His resurrection was predicted in Psalm 16:10 and his ascension was foretold in Psalm 68:18. This and other prophecy about Jesus Christ are fulfilled in New Testament Scripture.
In addition to the word “Messiah” the prophecies about Christ in the Old Testament use the term “Branch.” In Isaiah 11:1 the Branch is described as descending from Jesse the father of David. In Jeremiah 23:5 we see that he would be a king descending from David. In Jeremiah 33:15-16 the righteous Branch from David would execute justice and righteousness in the land. In Zechariah 3:8-9 we learn that the Branch will remove the sin of the land in one day. That obviously refers to the day of the crucifixion of Christ. In Zechariah 6:12-13 another fact is revealed. The Branch would sit and rule on his throne and he would be a priest on his throne. He is not reigning in Jerusalem because his kingdom is not of this world (JN 18:36).
The fact that all of these things were predicted thousands of years before they happened is proof that someone with greater knowledge than men have inspired the writers of the Bible. Neither the Da Vinci Code, nor the many others who have tried to discredit the divinity of Jesus Christ can match the time-tested verification of him in the Bible.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and one earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (COL 1:17).

An Interview with God
I dreamed I had an interview with God.
“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.
“If you have the time” I said.
God smiled. “My time is eternity.”“What questions do you have in mind for me?”
“What surprises you most about humankind?” I asked,
“That they lose their health to make money...and then lose their money to restore their health.”
“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present,
such that they live in neither, the present nor the future.”
"That they live as if they will never die,and die as though they had never lived.”
And then I asked...“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons ,you want your children to learn?”
“To learn that it is not good ,to compare themselves to others.”
“To learn to forgive ,by practicing forgiveness.”
“To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”
“To learn that a rich person ,is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least.”
“To learn that there are people ,who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned, how to express or show their feelings.”
“To learn that two people can, look at the same thing and see it differently.”
“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”
"Is there anything else you would like your children to know?"
God smiled and said,
“Just know that I am here... always.”
watch ths out!! its really good!!
